Chelsea are not giving up on Slobodan Rajkovic's work permit application.
Rajkovic has been on the books at Chelsea since 2007, but is yet to play a game for the club because of work permit problems.
The Serbia defender's form in preseason has convinced manager Andre Villas-Boas they must keep hold of the youngster.
Both manager and player are now sweating on his application being successful.
