Chelsea regained control at Leicester after equaliser - Mourinho

Chelsea defeated Leicester City in a come-from-behind 3-1 victory and boss Jose Mourinho believes the equalizer scored by Didier Drogba in the second half was the turning point in the game.

The Chelsea players went in at half-time trailing 1-0 to the Foxes but soon after the restart, veteran striker Drogba levelled the score on 48 minutes when slotting home Branislav Ivanovic's low cross at the front post.

"In the first half they defended well and tried to score a goal on the counter-attack which they did," said Mourinho.

"It was a difficult half against a very good team, who were very well organised defensively, who pressed very well and closed spaces, and who were very aggressive with the way they play with the ball.

"In the second half the early goal was important. After that we were completely under control. We played so well, so fluidly, that the goal had to arrive sooner or later. The boys did fantastically."
