Chelsea are ready to consider alternatives to Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao in January.

Rafa Benitez is desperate to strengthen his firepower for the second-half of the season, but their pursuit of Falcao may have to wait until the summer with Atletico a genuine title contender.

Two Frenchman, instead, are being offered to Benitez by Blues football chief Michael Emenalo.
