Chelsea are ready to make Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata their record transfer.

Morata is eager to move to Stamford Bridge after finding himself limited to a bit part role at Real this summer.

The Spain international has made it clear to Chelsea intermediaries he wants the move to happen.

And TMW says Chelsea are now ready to launch their bid for the player. A club record €70 million will be tabled to Real for Morata.

And for the striker, terms are expected to be struck over a contract to 2022 worth £10 million-a-year.
