Chelsea are preparing a £25million move for Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula. The Daily Express says Imbula has been watched several times by Chelsea scouts, but has also had run-ins with Marseille and has recently been dropped to the bench.
The 21-year-old joined the French giants this summer from Guingamp, making 12 appearances for his new side so far this term.
Arsenal are also thought to be keen on Imbula, who was born in Belgium and also holds citizenship of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
But the Blues could blow the Gunners out of the water with a £25m offer for the defensive midfielder.
