Chelsea hope to tempt Borussia Dortmund into parting with Marco Reus by making a swap offer. The Daily Express says Reus has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months and has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Westfalenstadion.
While Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are keen to sign the midfielder, Chelsea are currently ahead of their Premier League rivals in the race to secure his signature.
However, they are faced with a rumoured £25million buyout clause within the German's contract.
Chelsea are considering using Andre Schurrle in a swap deal to bring Reus the Premier League.
