Chelsea chief Peter Kenyon has revealed they're ready to buy English this summer.

"There's been lots of speculation but we're pretty confident that the players we want to keep, we'll keep," Kenyon said. "That has always been our position. The strategy is clear - home-grown for obvious reasons, the core being English, which is a strength, and having players on long-term contracts so you're not going through constant change. You always have strong foundations that you can build on and grow. That's what we're about."
