Chelsea face stiff competition for Benfica star winger Angel di Maria.
The Blues have employed former chief executive Peter Kenyon to close a deal with Di Maria's agent, Jorge Mendes, in Lisbon this week.
However, A Bola says with Kenyon's move being made public, that has kicked Real Madrid and Barcelona into action. Both Spanish giants are urging Mendes to delay any agreement until he's heard from them.
Chelsea are willing to go to £36 million for Di Maria.
