Chelsea could be about to return with a £30million offer for Everton´s John Stones after having two previous bids rejected.
The Premier League champions have had offers of £20m and £26m rejected already this season but are determined to land the England defender and will increase their offer.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez has publicly made it known that he does not want to sell Stones but may be forced to offload the 21-year-old if the price is right.
It is believed that Everton are already considering Stones´ replacements having looked at Manchester United´s Jonny Evans, Celtic´s Virgil van Dijk and Swansea City´s Ashley Williams.
The Telegraph revealed that talks are ongoing between the two clubs and the transfer could be agreed before the beginning of the season this weekend.
