Chelsea are prepared to lose Danny Sturridge in their deal for Liverpool ace Fernando Torres.
The Mail on Sunday says Liverpool have agreed to let Torres go for straight cash or a part-exchange deal to the value of £50 million.
Liverpool turned down Chelsea's initial offer for Torres of £35m plus young striker Danny Sturridge last week and on Friday night turned down the striker's own transfer request.
But any barriers to his departure will be removed once Chelsea meet the asking price.
Chelsea will come back to Liverpool with a package of £38m plus Sturridge tomorrow but Liverpool will demand more cash or Nicolas Anelka.
Chelsea will be reluctant to lose Anelka and the Frenchman, who played at Anfield under Gerard Houllier, is unlikely to be corralled into a move.
