Chelsea are confident of closing a deal for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani.
The Blues will step up efforts to sign Rugani, as soon as Maurizio Sarri is confirmed as new boss.
Sarri is poised to replace Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge imminently now the Premier League side have met the £4.4million buyout of the remainder of his Napoli contract.
TMW says a third Chelsea bid for 23-year-old central defender Rugani is being prepared.
Bids of £27m and 30m were rejected by Juve for the Italian international who moved to Turin from Empoli five years ago.
