Chelsea are ready to slap in a massive bid for Tottenham fullback Danny Rose this weekend.

The Sun says Chelsea are set to bid for Rose after Sunday's Wembley clash with Tottenham.

The Blues have made England man Rose their leading left-back target but would have to cough up £50million to interest Spurs.

Rose criticised his club's transfer and wage policies last week but the North London club are yet to give any indication they are keen to sell.

Rose, 27, who is still out until after the international break next month following knee surgery, is also a long-term target for Manchester United.
