Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho is keen to see January signing Branislav Ivanovic in action.

"I haven't seen too much because he got a knock and is now recovering, so I've trained with him a few times, not so much. We are waiting for his involvement," the Portugal defender told chelseafc.com.

"I didn't know too much of him, I haven't seen too many Russian games but he played for Serbia and scored against Portugal! I wasn't playing, but it was in the qualifiers and he scored in the last minute."
