The Daily Express says with Jose Mourinho widely expected to go back to Stamford Bridge in the coming weeks, Varane could be the ilk of player that Chelsea are after.

Mourinho is thought to be an admirer of Varane and has impressed his coach with his recent form and the Frenchman has repaid the departing Portuguese in return.
