Chelsea are chasing Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi for the January market.
The Daily Star says they are hoping Inter Milan's interest in fringe winger Mohamed Salah could help them land Icardi.
The Blues have been closely monitoring Icardi, who has been compared to Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Liverpool are also keen on the Argentina international, who has hit 17 Serie A goals in 36 games.
