Chelsea want to splash out big on strikers Diego Costa and Mario Mandzukic this summer. The Daily Express says the Blues are determined to complete a sensational double swoop for Atletico Madrid's Diego Costa AND Bayern Munich's Mandzukic as they hunt for more firepower ahead of the next Premier League campaign.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been a long-term admirer of Brazilian-born Costa, and has convinced Blues owner Roman Abramovich to meet the Spanish international's £32million buyout clause as he looks to find the missing piece of his jigsaw.
But Mourinho is also convinced that he needs a second experienced forward to give his squad more depth, and is positive that £25million-rated Mandzukic would be a great addition to the side.
