Chelsea plan to include Torres in £50M bid for Atletico Madrid star Falcao

Chelsea are ready to break the bank to prise Radamel Falcao away from Atletico Madrid.

The Daily Star says Chelsea have had representatives at virtually every Atletico Madrid game for the last three months watching Falcao, who is 26 on Friday.

Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas knows the striker well from their time together at Porto.

Falcao – full name Radamel Falcao Garcia Zarate – has a £50m buy-out clause in his contract, although it is understood the Spanish side would sell for less if former Atletico hero Fernando Torres was part of the deal.

Torres has scored just five times in 45 games and hasn’t hit the back of the net in more than 18 hours.

A move back to Spain and the club where his career began would give Torres an ideal escape route from his Chelsea nightmare.

How much, is a striker who couldn't score let alone hit the broadside of a barn from 6 yards, worth?

£50,000,000 buy out and Torres would bring it down to what? £49,000,000?

Unless its 49 mill PLUS Torres and a new contract which pays Fernando Gingerbread ONLY if he scores then its no deal.

We have no money who said that . Who spent 50 million this season? Ferguson always buys players if he feels they improve the squad. Not like a certain city manager who just buys players to stop them going to the opposition teams and weakens the opposition by buying their best players(arsenal has been really depleted by city). Not to mention acting like a spoilt child demanding more cash for transfers.

course not manure has no money just record principal payments of 100mil a year
