Chelsea plan to convince Bayern Munich coach Heynckes not to retire

Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes is being linked with Chelsea. The Blues are currently drawing up a shortlist of candidates who could succeed their interim manager Rafa Benitez in the summer.

Kicker says Heynckes was disappointed with the fact that he will have to retire at the end of the season, which has enabled Pep Guardiola to take over.

They also state that he has been linked with the Schalke job, but Chelsea might try and bring him out of retirement.
