Chelsea plan to shell out for three major signings before the transfer deadline falls.
The Telegraph says according to sources Chelsea are planning to make three significant signings before the end of the month which could involve spending at least 80 million (£70 million) - one left-sided player, one central midfielder and either a right-sided attacker or a striker.
In addition, there is a deal in place to finally secure striker Romelu Lukaku from Anderlecht for up to 20 million (£17.5 million) - it is believed a work permit has now been secured - while the Genk winger Kevin de Bruyne remains another possible signing at 10 million (£8.7 million).
