Chelsea are chasing Napoli attacking midfielder Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The Mirror says talent-spotter Frank Arnesen watched the exciting 23-year-old in action for Napoli last week and the Stamford Bridge club are weighing up a £10million move.

Lavezzi is the rising striking star of the Argentina side, winning a gold medal at the Olympics and now part of the full national squad on a regular basis.

His displays have sparked comparisons with Carlos Tevez and he notched eight goals in his first season in Serie A as Napoli had their best campaign for years.
