Antonio Conte has revealed that Branislav Ivanovic and Cesc Fabregas are not yet ready to return for Chelsea.

The Serbian defender and Spanish midfielder have been out of action with injuries of late and Wednesday night's EFL Cup clash with West Ham United is still too soon for a return for either.

"Ivanovic is better, he started to train with us from yesterday but it's normal after an injury that he needs a bit of time to come back," said Conte.

"Cesc is still not well, we must wait because he had a muscular problem.

"We must be patient but I hope to see him training with the team very soon."
