Young Chelsea duo Conor Clifford and Todd Kane have joined League One clubs on loan.
21-year old Irish midfielder Clifford has agreed a deal with Crawley Town whilst 19-year old right-back Kane heads to Preston North End.
Both deals run until January 5 and will allow the pair to further their development in a first team environment, adding to Clifford's previous loan spells with Plymouth Argyle, Notts County and Yeovil Town. It will be Blues U21 captain Kane's first stint away from Stamford Bridge.
