Despite the success of Rafa Benitez, the Sunday Express says Abramovich leading the race to secure his services.

Joan Laporta, former president of Barcelona, the club Guardiola left last season, said: "I think Pep will return next year. But I think he wants to be able to decide on all sporting matters."
