Chelsea chairman Roman Abramovich still regrets missing out on Daniel Alves in 2007.

Sport says Abramovich is tearing his hair out over the dynamic form of Barcelona fullback Alves, having all but agreed a deal for the Brazil international while he was with Sevilla.

The difference in the end was £2 million, which saw Alves stay one more season with Sevilla before making the move to Barca last summer.
