Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ready to nick Antonio Rudiger away from Roma.

Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has recommended the German's signing, says Sky Italia, and Abramovich is preparing an offer.

Rudiger is on-loan at Roma from VfB Stuttgart and Abramovich is willing to offer €30 million to change the course of his career.

The defender has been impressive for Roma this season, but they will be reluctant to compete with Chelsea in any auction.

For his part, Rudiger has stated he's happy in the capital.
