Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is planning a sensational move for Real Madrid stars Cristiano Ronaldo AND Gonzalo Higuain. The Telegraph says Chelsea are considering whether to launch an incredible €100 million (£83.6 million) bid to sign Ronaldo and Higuaín as part of a major overhaul of the squad this summer.

Ronaldo was signed by Real in 2009 from Manchester United for a world record £80 million and agreed a six-year deal with an astronomical buy-out clause.

Higuaín would be valued at less than €20 million (£16.7 million) in the deal with Chelsea having attempted to sign the Argentine international two years ago only for the deal to falter. The 24 year-old is understood to be open to a move away from Madrid having sometimes fallen behind Karim Benzema in the pecking order.
