France coach Laurent Blanc is a target for Chelssea owner Roman Abramovich.
Le Parisien says Chelsea are seeking to head off interest from Inter Milan, who sacked Claudio Ranieri yesterday, by offering Blanc the job at Stamford Bridge.
And the report claims Blanc has been offered a contract worth a staggering €1 million a month - or £9million a year.
When Bordeaux played Chelsea in the Champions League in 2008, former Manchester United defender Blanc said he wanted one day to work in the Premier League.
"It is a big goal for me," he said. "England is another planet with a real passion, a history, with great players and lots of money. Chelsea is one of the biggest European clubs."
