Leonid Slutsky is being linked with Henk Fraser's job at Vitesse Arnhem.

Vitesse are informal partners with Chelsea, where owner Roman Abramovich is good friends with former Hull City manager Slutsky. Indeed, the Russian worked with Chelsea before taking the Tigers job.

De Gelderlander says Slutsky is being discussed at Vitesse as a replacement for Fraser.

"We do not make any announcements about the trainer's vacancy, we are not going to confirm anything," interim technical director Marc van Hintum replied when asked about Slutsky yesterday.
