El Mundo Deportivo says Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is keen on bringing Iaquinta to Stamford Bridge over the summer.
Chelsea are set to intensify their interest in Iaquinta after becoming aware of Atletico Madrid making an offer for the centre-forward this week.
