Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is delighted to be on the verge of welcoming back fullback Glen Johnson from Portsmouth.

The Blues are set to land Johnson for around £17 million.

One source told the Daily Mail: "He has behaved in a mature manner, as well as improving as a player with regular first-team football.

"Roman always liked him because of his attacking dare as a full back. Jose (Mourinho) did not always agree, but he's not at the club any more, is he?"
