Chelsea owner Abramovich in constant contact with Real Madrid boss Mourinho

Manchester City and Chelsea face competition from Inter Milan for Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho. AS, which has close ties to Real, led today with news that Mourinho's future could see him return to England in the summer. Ironically, he is in London today for a charity event.

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti would love to bring Mourinho back to the San Siro to form a dream management team with Leonardo - but the prospect of working alongside the Brazilian is not on the Special One's agenda.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is now in regular contact with Mourinho via SMS and so far hasn't been convinced by the alternatives he's been offered to replace Carlo Ancelotti in the summer.

City are also being linked, though have denied claims of making a bumper contract offer to the former Blues boss.

"You do not look for deals, they appear," says a source close to Mourinho, who insists that London is, for him and his family, the perfect city and the Premier League the competition he most enjoys.
