Chelsea have assured Carlo Ancelotti of major signings this summer.

The Daily Mail says AC Milan coach Ancelotti will be appointed as Chelsea manager this summer and been told they will give him an all-star cast.

Top of the shopping list is Valencia striker David Villa, who Blues owner Roman Abramovich has told his players he is confident of bringing to London.

Abramovich has realised he needs to start investing serious money in his team again and he has assured senior members of the Stamford Bridge dressing room that he will deliver the big names.
