Chelsea out, Drogba sent-off on special night for Mourinho
Samuel Eto'o was the hero as Inter Milan stunned Chelsea at home 1-0 to hand coach Jose Mourinho revenge over his old team.
Mourinho's Inter bundled Chelsea out of the Champions League 3-1 on aggregate thanks to Eto'o's second-half strike and a midfield masterclass from Wesley Sneijder.
Rather than 'parking the bus' in front of goal, as he once accused a Premier League manager of doing against his old club, Mourinho chose Samuel Eto'o, Diego Milito and Goran Pandev as Inter looked to protect a 2-1 lead from the first leg.
The crucial blow came with 12 minutes to go and inevitably it was Sneijder who provided the chance.
His ball over the top went over Ivanovic's head and landed perfectly for Eto'o, who took the pass in his stride and curled his finish around Turnbull with the outside of his boot.
With three minutes remaining Didier Drogba was given a red card after a clash that had Thiago Motta clutching his shin and Inter players accusing the Chelsea striker of kicking out.
Mourinho waited inside the tunnel in stoppage time and when the final whistle blew he did not reappear.

Listen to these useless ***** mocking Chelsea. It;s not like the gunners or manure r gonna win. And to those saying CHELSEA has no history suck it. We focus on the future u grannies.
LOL @ Drogba. Imagine if it was him that got stomped, he'd still be rolling on the ground 24hrs after it happened
Brilliant game from Eto'o, look how much work he did tracking back and defending, then rushing to attack, he was everywhere on the pitch. Amazing passing from Sneijder. The Inter team all around was superb, and Mourinho once again demonstrates why he is the special one, hehehe.
