Chelsea have made contact with AS Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim.

Yahoo Sport says Chelsea have made “preliminary inquiries" about Jardim.

The 43-year-old has been with Monaco since 2014 and led them to the Ligue 1 title and Champions League semi-finals last season.

Antonio Conte's future at Stamford Bridge is in major doubt with Chelsea set to miss out on Champions League football next season.

Thomas Tuchel, Luis Enrique, Massimiliano Allegri and Carlo Ancelotti have all been linked with Conte's job.
