Chelsea are set to offer Jose Mourinho a contract extension according to reports.

The Blues will reportedly offer the Portuguese tactician a new two-year deal on top of his initial four-year contract in a bid to keep him in west London until 2019.

It is believed that Mourinho, who led Chelsea to this season's Premier League title, has agreed verbally to the extension but is yet to put pen to paper.

52-year old Mourinho returned to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2013 after initially leaving west London in 2007 after leading the club to back-to-back titles in '05 and '06.
