Chelsea are set to offer Patrick Bamford a long-term contract.
The Times reports that the newly-crowned Premier League champions are determined to tie down the talented 21-year old striker who has starred during his season-long loan at Middlesbrough.
The Blues will propose a five-year deal to Bamford, who is currently contracted at Stamford Bridge until next summer, in a bid to ward off interest from the likes of Everton, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.
Bamford was named this season's Championship Player of the Year after scoring 17 league goals for Boro who are currently in the middle of their semi-final promotion play-off against Brentford.
