Aston Villa have been told to forget about Chelsea fullback Ryan Bertrand.

The Sunday Mirror says Chelsea will reject a bid for Bertrand from Aston Villa and offer the promising left-back a new deal to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Bertrand was handed a surprise European debut in Chelsea's Champions League final victory over Bayern Munich and impressed playing as a makeshift left winger.
