Chelsea No2 Ray Wilkins says Joe Cole's return from injury was crucial to their Premiership triumph.

Cole struck a wonder goal at Manchester United in the decisive game of the season.

Wilkins told chelseafc.com: "It can take a long time to get over a serious injury like the one Joe suffered, but he has worked ever so hard and it all paid off with the tremendous goal he scored at Old Trafford, which was of huge significance for our season and the way things panned out."
