Chelsea No2 Ray Wilkins has heaped praise on goalkeeper Petr Cech for his contribution in their Double triumph.
Cech kept perhaps his most important saves for last. In the FA Cup Final with the scores at 0-0, he first pulled off an amazing instinctive save to prevent Frederic Piquionne from opening the scoring, and then kept out Kevin-Prince Boateng's spot-kick with his feet, moments before Didier Drogba went up the other end and scored a superb free-kick.
Wilkins told chelseafc.com: "People often forget how good Petr is.
"Playing for the top teams like Chelsea mean there is always great scrutiny placed on goalkeepers, any mistakes attract a lot of attention but again he has been incredibly consistent. His number of clean sheets is testament to that."
