Chelsea assistant manager Roberto Di Matteo is full of confidence that Andre Villas-Boas is the right man for the job.

The Portuguese tactician has been criticised in recent weeks after a poor run of results by the Blues but Di Matteo feels the former FC Porto boss has all the makings to lead the London club to glory.

"He's very well-prepared and mature for his young age," Di Matteo said of the 34-year old.

"He knows he has a very wide knowledge of the Premier League and football in general.
