Chelsea defender David Luiz has been spotted dining with Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Sun says Luiz may have tried to convince Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join Antonio Conte's side.

The Brazilian met up with Borussia Dortmund's star striker after Aubameyang cast serious doubt over his future.

The 29-year-old speed merchant confirmed to Telefoot that it could be his last season at the Bundesliga club.

He said: "I am happy to have stayed here.

"However, I don't know what will happen at the end of the season."

Luiz and Aubameyang looked in high spirits after dining at Cesar restaurant in Paris.

The Dortmund hitman shared an image of the pair on Instagram alongside the caption: "I'm always like a kid when I see a big player like you my friend."
