Chelsea must go to £29 million to sign Santos superkid Neymar. The Daily Star says that is the get-out clause Santos inserted in the exciting young striker's contract.
It has been claimed the Blues have already agreed a deal for Neymar, 18, who scored on his international debut and was voted man of the match in the 2-0 victory over the USA in New Jersey.
But it is understood owner Roman Abramovich has so far only sanctioned a bid of £16.5m for a player who is already drawing comparisons with Santos and Brazil icon Pele.
"Santos say they do not want to sell him," a Chelsea source explained last night.
"Everybody considers him to be the best in the world for the coming years."
