Chelsea move ahead of Man Utd in Hazard battle

Chelsea have now nudged ahead of Manchester United for Lille star Eden Hazard. L'Equipe says Chelsea and United have agreed a €40million fee with Lille but the Blues are now favourites to land the Belgium international.

It's claimed the Londoners have offered a five-year contract compared to United's four-year deal and he is erring towards a switch to the capital.

Manchester City could be willing to drop out of the race due to the player's demands and Arsenal's bid has, apparently, come too late in the day.
