Chelsea are monitoring David Luiz's knee strain.

The Daily Mai says Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Luiz amid fears his painful knee problem could cost them in their Premier League title run-in.

The 29-year-old, who has arguably been one of Antonio Conte's best players in their push to the top of the table, could be seen limping during their 1-1 draw at Burnley on Sunday.

He was later treated by Chelsea's medical staff after leaving Turf Moor and insiders say it is highly likely the Brazilian will be rested for their trip to Wolves in the FA Cup fifth round this weekend.

The central defender has struggled with his knee since he was fouled by Sergio Aguero at the Etihad Stadium in early December, which resulted in a red card for the Manchester City striker.
