Chelsea are reportedly monitoring the progress of Celta Vigo right-back Hugo Mallo.
The 19-year old Spain U19 international has been developing nicely in the Celta first team over the past two seasons in Spain's Segunda Division and Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti is taking some interest.
Spanish clubs Getafe, Valencia and Deportivo La Coruna are also believed to showing considerable curiosity in the youngster.
