Chelsea are being linked with Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni.
The Sun says Chelsea could turn to Italy's Toni to fill in for Didier Drogba - while he plays for Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations next month.
Toni, 32, was Bayern Munich top scorer last term. But the German giants could be ready to do a deal for Toni after fining the 2006 World Cup winner for walking out after he was subbed recently.
The veteran has been linked with Claudio Ranieri's Roma, though his agent insisted no agreement had yet been struck.
