Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel is thrilled to make Holland's World Cup provisional squad.
Van Ginkel has only just recovered from an ACL injury.
"If the pain is gone, so does the fear of a new injury," said Van Ginkel. "The pain threshold has been gone for a while. I enjoy precisely that I am fit again. I did not expect to be sitting with the Oranje, especially since I'd not played for Chelsea.
"But the coach asked for reports about my games with the juniors and I am happy to be here."
