Chelsea midfielder Ramires risks a retrospective ban after their shock defeat to Sunderland.

The Mail on Sunday says Ramires may face retrospective action from the Football Association after his slap on Sebastian Larsson went unpunished.

Though the incident took place right under Mike Dean's nose, it appears as if the referee was looking elsewhere and didn't see it.

As Chelsea's frustrations boiled up in the defeat to Sunderland, the Brazilian midfielder reacted to off the ball contact by Larsson, turning and slapping the Swede in the face.

Larsson went down, and though Riley was only a couple of feet away his attention was elsewhere.
