Chelsea midfielder Ramires insists his failed penalty call against Manchester United in their Champions League defeat was wrong.
The decision by Spanish referee Alberto Undiano Mallenco not to award the spot kick still leaves the Brazilian midfielder mystified.
"It was very clear that it was a penalty, it couldn't be more obvious," said the 24-year-old to chelseafc.com. "I controlled the ball, I was sure I was going to score, but the defender threw himself on to me and never in any instance touched the ball, I couldn't even run because he was all over my body so it was a clear penalty, as clear as possible."
