Chelsea midfielder Ramires admits he leaned on Liverpool's Brazilian Lucas Leiva as he struggled to initially settle in England.
It was only last season that Lucas - now in his fourth campaign - began to win over critics at Anfield, but the transition is happening a lot quicker for Ramires, an £18million summer signing from Portuguese champions Benfica.
"We knew it would take a time to adapt when I arrived," he said.
"That was no surprise. No Brazilian escapes it when he comes to England. Lucas has also lived through what I am experiencing and now his work is being recognised. I think this period went even quicker for me."
